Open Quote generator →What is the quote generator?
A quote and estimate builder that turns your logo, line items, tax, discount and a validity date into a clean, A4 PDF — with a live preview as you type. It runs entirely in your browser and saves your business details for next time, so nothing is uploaded to a server.
How to use Quote generator
- Add your business — Enter your business name, address, email and phone, and upload a logo. These details are saved for your next quote.
- Enter the client and details — Fill in who the quote is for, choose Quote or Estimate, pick a currency, and set the quote number, issue date and valid-until date.
- Add line items — Add a row for each item with a description, quantity and unit price. Then set a tax rate, an optional discount and any notes or terms.
- Export the PDF — Check the live A4 preview, then download a clean PDF to send to your client.
Frequently asked questions
What format does it export?
It exports a clean A4 PDF generated entirely in your browser, ready to email to a client.
Does it remember my business details?
Yes. Your business profile and last quote are saved in your browser on this device, so you don't have to re-enter them each time.
Can I choose the currency?
Yes. You can pick from several currency symbols including $, €, £, ¥, ₹, ₼, ₽, ₺ and more — or none. Note the symbol is fixed; there is no live exchange-rate conversion.
What's the difference between a quote and an estimate?
A quote is usually a fixed price you commit to, while an estimate is an approximate figure that may change. The tool lets you label the document as either.
Is my data uploaded anywhere?
No. Everything runs in your browser and your details stay on your device — nothing is sent to a server.
Tips
- Set a 'valid until' date and mention it in your notes so clients know the price has an expiry.
- Upload your logo once — it's saved for every future quote.
- Spell out deposit or payment terms in the notes field to avoid surprises later.
- Use the Estimate label when the final figure may still move.
