Open Meeting agenda & minutes →What is the meeting agenda & minutes tool?
A free, private tool for planning a meeting and writing it up afterwards. Lay out a timed agenda with owners, capture the discussion, decisions and action items, and watch a clean A4 document build live as you type. Everything is saved on your device and runs entirely in your browser, so it keeps working offline.
How to use Meeting agenda & minutes
- Fill in the meeting details — Enter the title, date, time, location and the list of attendees (one per line or comma-separated).
- Build the agenda — Add agenda items with a topic, an owner and a length in minutes. The preview totals the time for you.
- Capture the minutes — Type the discussion notes, list the decisions (one per line), and add action items with an owner and due date.
- Export or copy — Download the live A4 preview as a PDF, or copy the whole write-up as Markdown to paste into a wiki or email.
Frequently asked questions
Is my meeting data uploaded anywhere?
No. Everything you type stays in your browser and is saved to your device's local storage, so it's private and works offline after the first load.
Will my notes still be there when I come back?
Yes. The meeting is saved automatically as you type, so it reloads the next time you open the tool. Use Reset to start a fresh meeting.
How are the action items formatted in the export?
In the PDF they appear as a table with Action, Owner and Due columns. In the Markdown copy they become a checkbox list with the owner and due date inline.
Does the agenda time add up automatically?
Yes. Each item's minutes are summed into a total shown at the bottom of the agenda section on the preview.
Can I undo a change?
Yes. The tool keeps an undo/redo history, so you can step back through your field edits if you remove or change the wrong thing.
Tips
- Give every agenda item an owner and a time box so the meeting stays on track.
- Write decisions and action items separately — decisions record what was agreed, actions record who does what next.
- Copy as Markdown to drop the minutes straight into a wiki, ticket or email.
