What is the habit tracker?

A free, private habit tracker built around a month grid you tick off day by day. Each habit shows its current streak and a monthly completion total, and you can export the grid as a PNG. It runs entirely in your browser and saves everything on your device, so it works offline.

How to use Habit tracker

  1. Add your habits — Type a habit name in the box at the bottom, pick a colour, and press Add. Start with a few you want to build, such as exercise or reading.
  2. Tick off each day — Click a cell in the month grid to mark a habit done for that day. Click again to clear it. The today column is highlighted so it's easy to find.
  3. Watch your streak — Each habit shows a current-streak count and how many days this month you've completed it, so you can see your momentum at a glance.
  4. Navigate and export — Use the arrows or Today to move between months, then export the grid as a PNG image from the header when you want to share or save it.

Frequently asked questions

Is my data saved anywhere online?

No. Your habits and ticks are stored only in your browser on this device. Nothing is uploaded, and the tracker keeps working offline.

How is the current streak counted?

It counts back from today (or yesterday if today isn't ticked yet) and adds up the run of consecutive days you've completed the habit, stopping at the first gap.

Can I track more than one habit?

Yes. Add as many habits as you like, each with its own colour, and they all appear as rows on the same month grid.

What does the export produce?

It downloads the current month's grid as a PNG image, named for the month, which you can save or share.

Can I undo removing a habit?

Yes. The tracker keeps an undo history, so you can step back if you remove a habit or clear a day by mistake.
