A simple monthly budget planner: list your income and expenses, tag each expense with a category, and watch your totals, what is left over and your savings rate update live alongside a doughnut chart of where the money goes. It saves on your device and runs fully offline — nothing is uploaded.
How to use Budget planner
- Add your income — List each source of monthly income with a label and amount, using "+ Add income" for more rows.
- List your expenses — Add each expense with an amount and tag it with a category such as Housing, Food, Transport or Bills.
- Set the period and currency — Name the period (for example "June 2026") and pick a currency symbol so the figures read clearly.
- Read your summary — Watch income, expenses, what is left over and your savings rate update live, with a doughnut chart of where the money goes.
- Export your budget — Download a PNG of the breakdown to share, or a CSV of every line to open in a spreadsheet.
Frequently asked questions
Is my budget saved between visits?
Yes. Your budget is stored locally on your device, so it is still there when you return. Nothing is uploaded to any server.
What is the savings rate?
It is the share of your income that is left over after expenses, shown as a percentage — a quick gauge of how much of what you earn you are keeping.
Can I change the currency?
Yes. Choose from a list of currency symbols or none. The planner uses the symbol only — there is no live exchange-rate conversion.
What can I export?
You can download a PNG image of the breakdown, or a CSV file listing every income and expense line for use in a spreadsheet.
Does it work offline?
Yes. After the first visit the planner is cached and works with no internet connection.
Tips
- Tag every expense with a category so the doughnut chart shows where your money really goes.
- Add a Savings line to your expenses to pay yourself first and track it like any other outgoing.
- Export a CSV each month to build a history you can compare in a spreadsheet.
- Name the period clearly so exported files are easy to tell apart later.
