A weekly timesheet where you log start and end times and breaks for each day, and get hours per day, weekly totals, overtime and pay from an hourly rate. It handles overnight shifts and exports a CSV or printable PDF. It runs entirely in your browser, saves your work locally, and works offline.
How to use Timesheet calculator
- Set up the week — Enter your name, the week's start date, your hourly rate and currency, and your overtime threshold and multiplier.
- Log each day — For each day of the week, enter the start time, end time and any break in minutes. Leave blank days empty.
- Read the totals — Hours per day, the weekly total, regular and overtime hours and the resulting pay update automatically as you type.
- Export — Download a CSV spreadsheet or a printable PDF from the header when your timesheet is complete.
Frequently asked questions
Does it handle overnight shifts?
Yes. If an end time is earlier than the start time, the day is counted as running past midnight into the next day.
How is overtime calculated?
Hours beyond your weekly overtime threshold are paid at the rate multiplied by your overtime multiplier (1.5 by default). Everything up to the threshold is regular pay.
How is the break applied?
The break minutes you enter for a day are subtracted from that day's worked time before hours and pay are totalled.
Is my timesheet saved or uploaded?
It's saved only in your browser's local storage so it's there when you return. Nothing is uploaded — the whole tool runs offline.
Which currencies are supported?
You can pick from a short list including $, €, £, ₼, A$ and C$, or choose None to show pay as plain numbers.
Tips
- Set the overtime threshold to match your contract — change it from 40 if your week differs.
- Export CSV to drop the figures into a spreadsheet, or PDF for a printable record.
- Use Clear times to start a fresh week while keeping your name, rate and settings.
- For a single shift without the weekly breakdown, the time duration calculator is quicker.
